Dr. Alexander obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at Texas A&M University, then attended The Ohio State University, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Alexander is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association

In her few free minutes, she can be found dreaming up her perfect garden, or practicing nail art techniques

Why did you get into the veterinary field?
I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age. An early affinity for animals and a love of problem solving made my choice of career an easy one.

What are your special interests within veterinary medicine?
My special interests include behavior, dentistry, and empowering owners to be an active part of their pet’s medical care.

Dr. Kimberly Sabo

Dr. Sabo received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Michigan State University and a certification from the Production Animal Scholars Program. Dr. Sabo graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Michigan State in 2012. After graduation Dr. Sabo completed an internship in small animal emergency and critical care

She is a member of American Veterinary Medical Association

In her free time Dr. Sabo plays ultimate frisbee competitively

Why did you get into the veterinary field?
I spent my summers with my uncle on his dairy farm. I have always loved cows and becoming a vet was a way that I could help them. Shortly after graduation I transitioned to small animal veterinary medicine but I am so happy my journey has landed me here.

What are your special interests within veterinary medicine?
I love using ultrasonography as a diagnostic tool! I am also trained in acupuncture and am very excited to offer this service to my patients.

Dr. Christine McCoy

Dr. McCoy received her Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009

She is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association

On her time off she enjoys yoga and stand-up paddle boarding

Why did you get into the veterinary field?
I got into this industry to help people by helping their pets. I enjoy building relationships over time.

What are your special interests within veterinary medicine?
My passion is to treat my patients with food as medicine, alone or in conjunction with traditional veterinary treatment. I am also interested in studying metabolic disease in dogs.

Dr. John Samon

Dr. Samon received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science in 1992, Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Science in 1994, and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (Cum Laude) from Texas A&M in 1997

He is a lifetime member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Feline Practitioners

Dr. Samon enjoys playing chess, fishing, and being on Lake Travis

Why did you get into the veterinary field?
I have been interested in the medical field from a young age. Veterinary medicine combined my love of medicine, the outdoors, and animals.

What are your special interests within veterinary medicine?
I enjoy seeing generations of families come through our hospital. My special interests also include surgery, geriatric care and pain management.
