Why did you get into the veterinary field?
I got into the industry to help make a difference in the lives of animals. I started in the kennels in high school and quickly realized my passion was for nursing hospitalized patients back to good health. Now I enjoy helping make a difference in the lives of the team members who care for the patients. This way, I can have a positive effect on so many more patients than I ever could have on my own. I still get excited to see a recovering patient walk out of the hospital after being cared for by our phenomenal team.
What are your special interests within veterinary medicine?
My special interests are in: team member growth, innovation, leadership, and shaking up the old “norms” of veterinary management.
